We’ve attracted the top early builders, investors, and influencers of Web3, and have evolved into the premier community on Solana.
The collection has maintained its value and is often dubbed the 'CryptoPunks of Solana' for its provenance and enduring potential.

Our Team

Meet the MonkeDAO leadership. The team is made up of a Lead Executive, along with 3 appointed executives, 5 board of directors members, a treasurer, in-house council, and an observer.

Every year (known as an epoch), a DAO-wide election is held, where members are encouraged to nominate themselves and vote on who will lead the DAO.

There are 4 total executive positions, and each member is expected to serve the vision of the community, put voted proposals and surveys into action, incorporate and maintain MonkeDAO as an entity, and serve on DAO committees as a representative of the community.

Executive Team

The executive team serves as the primary operational and executory arm of MonkeDAO and is responsible for the core day-to-day operations of MonkeDAO.

Jemmy

A passionate believer in self-organized social collectives, co-founded MonkeDAO to be the change I want to see. Venture capitalist by profession, believes that the future of the world need to be spearheaded by extremely innovative and unconventional innovators across the world.

Bibsee

Experienced in corporate strategy, IT governance, and client service. Focused on process optimization, events, and community building. Active in Web3 since 2022, supporting the growth of Solana Romania and local builders and founders.

Maldo

Background in fashion, digital communications, and marketing, with a multicultural perspective. She brings ideas to life through creativity and strategy, designing concepts that connect people and culture. Collector of JPEGs and memecoins, exploring the Web3 space since 2022.

Moonsettler

A seasoned product professional who left Web2 to chase innovation full-time in Web3. After leading large scale global digital projects in tech and startups, Moon now builds and experiments at the frontier of Web3

An idea machine and relentless doer. Italian to the core (pineapple on pizza? Never!), he brings wild creativity and unstoppable drive to everything he touches. Chaos is his playground—and he always builds something unforgettable in the middle of it.

Board of Directors

The board serves as the primary supervisory and judicial arm of MonkeDAO.

SuperSimon

Canadian geophysicist, in crypto since 2011 and active in DAOs since 2021. Focused on community and communications, he is a lead at Superteam Canada, supporting the Canadian Solana ecosystem by helping accelerate local talent, builders, and founders.

Bennyy

Bennyy runs operations at MonkeFoundry and leads growth at Solana ID. He also hosts Monday Monke Spotlight, a weekly space highlighting Monkes and founders building across Solana, bringing experience in programs, partnerships, and execution while helping teams ship and scale.

CWH

Full-time degen and dad. Former Olympian turned Web3 believer who entered the NFT space in 2021 and never looked back. Previously worked with OkayBears and SolPunks, now channeling that same competitive drive into growing and representing the SMB community.

AGV BTC

AGV is a former tech and US government data analyst, researcher, and product owner. In crypto since 2017, he moved to Vietnam in 2023 to start a DeFi project called OpenWorld, continuing to build while supporting the ecosystem. Monke forever.

gareth

UK-based Web2 and Solana developer building since 2008, with a background as a senior developer in UK e-commerce. Active on Solana since 2021 (DAA → SMB), he helped build the voting platform and launch a validator that is still running today. Builder brain, dad duties.

unjustmouse

Mousy (otherwise known as Unjustmouse) is an educator, spending the past decade in classrooms. Entered the web3 space in 2017, he has worked for a wide array of projects and protocols focusing on tokenomics, infrastructure and DAO governance.

Dev

I am a social intellect versed in marketing and organic social strategies. IRL, I am an entrepreneur, model, content creator, beauty professional, medical professional and now tapping into real estate, mentoring in the commercial niche. I love a challenge. Aided in building various communities and platforms for varying-sized companies and Web3 artists alike for the past 4 years. Web3 since 2019 and a filthy degen at heart. My priority is human connection.
